I wasn’t quite able to convince my wife to go see the movie with me, but I think she’ll enjoy it somewhat when it comes out on DVD and I watch it for the sixth or seventh time. It chocas with gratuitous CGI and action sequences, featured no less than four literal cliffhangers and a good number of nods to TOS, plus a plot device allowing the story to deviate markedly from everything we thought we knew about the ST universe.
Not every trekkie enjoyed it so much, apparently…
